About

We are currently accepting submissions for our inaugural issue, Entanglements. More information is available on the “Submissions” tab of our website. For any further inquiries, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Mission

We seek to publish scholarship concerned with entanglements of people, land, and power that exceed the boundaries of any single nation, region, or archive. We are especially interested in work that moves beyond the historiographical centers the field has long taken for granted, making room for the regions, communities, and forms of political and environmental life that conventional approaches to history tend to leave obscure. Common issues include connections between, and afterlives of, extraction, dispossession, empire, and resistance.

Editorial Board

Thresholds is edited by students in the International and World History program held between Columbia University and the London School of Economics.
