International Students

The dual MA/MSc program accepts students from all parts of the world. The respective International Students' offices at Columbia University and the London School of Economics provide visa assistance and immigration advising for new and current students.

Columbia

Columbia University has an International Student and Scholar Office that assists foreign students with visa issues and other transition questions. The ISSO's website has a wealth of information, including a getting started guide, which provides necessary visa and immigration information for incoming international students.

Students should contact [email protected] with any additional questions.

LSE

The school’s International Student Visa Advice Team (ISVAT) advises students on visa options while studying at LSE. General visa advice can be found on their website here. General guidelines for applying for a Student Visa can be found here

ISVAT holds weekly drop-in sessions at the Student Services Counter for students who have queries that are not covered on their website. Students in need of individual advice can arrange one-on-one appointments. The center also offers detailed, up-to-date immigration information on their website. These are complimented by regular Tier 4 Visa advice sessions on applying to and extending ones stay in the UK.
