During her time at Columbia and LSE, Therese specialized in comparative colonial studies of South Asia in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and wrote her dissertation on the late period of Danish rule of Serampore. She is an analytically strong researcher and communicator with experience in international relations, journalism and public administration and currently works for the Ministry of the Environment in Denmark. She has a BA in Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies from University of Copenhagen.
