Roberto Velázquez Quiroz is an Adjunct Instructor of Sociology at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Santiago, since 2015. His scholarly interests include the Cold War in Latin America, Latin American Historiography, Contemporary Social Theory, Cultural Sociology, and Historical Sociology. His teaching experience range from courses on the Cultural Cold War, Modern Latin America, History and Contemporary Social Thought, and Sociology of Art. His research has been supported by the Institute of Latin American Studies (Columbia University), the Alliance Fellowship (Columbia University and the London School of Economics), and the Comision Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia de Chile (CONICYT).
