Empires, World Orders, and Post-Colonial, Europe, North America

I graduated from Boston University in 2025 with honors in political science, with minors in economics and history. My honors thesis, which examined the causes of the rise of the French far-right in the 21st century, won the Political Science Department’s award for best honors thesis of 2025.

Although history was not my specialization during my undergraduate studies, it made up a substantial portion of my coursework and I have maintained an avid extracurricular interest in the subject since childhood. As an undergraduate, I was largely a generalist, having read broadly across different regions and periods, with a slight emphasis on the modern history of Europe and the United States. The topics I am most interested in currently are globalization, especially in the European context, as well as political extremism. I am excited to explore these subjects further at Columbia and LSE.
