Dissertation

Olivia received her B.A. in Business Administration from Universidad de San Andrés in 2016 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also had the opportunity to do an exchange at Regents College in London. Olivia wrote her thesis about the Complex Technology Industry and the role of the State in its development. After graduating from College, Olivia interned at Techint, an industrial Group in Buenos Aires. She later worked in a Social Enterprise that commercializes indigenous art craft, implementing a software system to trace the impact of the company in the territory. As a result of her extensive travels around the world and the interaction with indigenous communities she became interested in understanding the culture through historical research as a mean to plan Public Policy and local development.

During her time at CU and LSE she will focus on Public Policy in undeveloped countries. Specially, Latin America and the peace processes within Latin American Nations. Her two main interests are the assimilation of globalization and modernity by indigenous societies and peace processes in countries with internal conflicts based on social and ideological differences.
