THE MEDIEVAL MEDITERRANEAN

This colloquium examines the problem of the integrated study of Mediterranean societies and institutions in the pre-modern period. Students will read synthetic works that attempt to encompass the entire region, as well as local studies from a comparative perspective. The course is intended for graduate students in medieval history and others preparing for original research or oral examinations fields on Mediterranean subjects.   Field(s): MED
