Hailing from Los Angeles, Madeline got her B.A. in Classics at Oberlin College. In accordance with her diverse liberal arts education, she participated in the field school at the Mitrou Archaeological Project in Greece, and studied documentary filmmaking and Argentine folklore at the University of Buenos Aires. After Oberlin, she wrote screenplays in Beijing, and taught courses at The Wheeler School in Providence, RI, in ancient Greek, Spanish, literature, mythology, and filmmaking. She also directed a feature-length Unity and Diversity documentary for Wheeler. Her passion for ancient and modern civilizations, exploration, and storytelling brought her to study 8 languages, live on four continents and travel to 40+ nations.
Alongside these pursuits, Madeline’s dominant focus had been around her personal healing and spiritual pursuits. After attending the MA/MSc program, she traveled globally to continue training in various inner transformation practices. She is now a facilitator and founder of Creatures of Consciousness, where holistic healing techniques and the language of consciousness are interwoven to foster deep inner work. She is currently writing When You’re Ready to Stop Running, a book on inner journeying and self-mastery.
