Kester Keating read PPE at St Catherine's College, Oxford, graduating in 2007. Before joining the world history MA programme he worked at Oliver Wyman, the leading financial services strategy consulting firm. He also spent time at Credit Suisse and HSBC in China and London. Kester's research interests include financial and maritime history; in particular the late 19th century which saw the impact of improved steam technology, legal structures and new patterns of investor behaviour.
