Josh Clement currently works as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. Prior to this, he worked as an analyst at Kobre & Kim LLP, where he performed legal research on securities and financing-focused disputes. He interned in Washington, DC at the US House of Representatives, Center for International Policy, and Quinn Gillespie and Associates, LLC.

Prior to joining the program in 2013, Josh graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in History from the University of Alabama. His dissertation for the CU/LSE program analyzes regulatory policies in the US that have hindered American banks from competing in the global securities market. As a means to provide a bi-partisan account of a continuing problem, Josh has conducted interviews with notable economists at Columbia Business School who have differing views and perspectives on the topic. In addition to his academic interest and experiences, Josh is an avid tennis player.
