Francis Russo

Dissertation

Francis Russo is a Ph.D. student in early U.S. history at the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on the intellectual and social history of the Atlantic world, the history of democracy, and historical epistemology. He is interested in pursuing a dissertation project on the legacy of the eighteenth century for modern democracy. Francis is a graduate of the dual M.A./M.Sc. program in International and World History at Columbia University and the London School of Economics, and received a B.A. in History and Music from Trinity College, where he was a Presidential Fellow.
