Doris Carrion

Doris Carrion completed the degree in 2013 and has a BA in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies from Columbia University. Doris has worked in London, and she also spent two years in the West Bank working with an American nonprofit organization that serves refugee youth. Her research interests are Middle East politics and history, and she was awarded the Richard Hofstadter Dissertation Prize for her thesis on the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood's economic ideology from 1974 to 1991. Doris speaks Arabic, Spanish and English.
