Born to a father from Kuala Lumpur and a mother from Penang and Singapore, Dana’s passion for international history stemmed from her experience living in 12 countries on four continents. After graduation, she was a columnist for Mic, covering entertainment news from New York City, before relocating to Taipei, Taiwan, where, as a features reporter, she wrote about art, food, travel, culture and social issues for the English-language newspaper, the Taipei Times. Since going freelance, Dana has filed stories from five continents for in-flight magazines, luxury travel magazines, websites and tourism bureaus and written travel guidebooks for Louis Vuitton City Guides, Marriott Hotels and DestinAsian magazine. She's currently writing and illustrating a children's book and splits her time between Singapore/Malaysia and Europe.
