Brooke grew up in Macon, Georgia and graduated from Brigham Young University in 2023. During her undergraduate studies, she studied abroad in London, did a summer fellowship at the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C., and volunteered with the Utah Prison Education Project as a teaching assistant. Her capstone project focused on the role of slavery in the Anglo-American negotiations of the Webster-Ashburton Treaty of 1842. After graduating, Brooke worked as a paralegal for nearly two years at the Utah Attorney General's Office, and now she is excited to begin her studies at Columbia and LSE! Outside of school, she enjoys reading novels, college football, and bottomless chips and salsa.
