Simon Frank graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelors of Arts in 2013, specializing in history with a minor in literary studies. Before attending university Simon grew up in India and China, and in his research seeks to investigate historical links between the two nations by looking at economic history, shared frontiers, and migration. Simon's interest in history also fuels more journalistic writing. In 2012 he interned and wrote for New Delhi's the Caravan, and from 2012-2013 served as features editor for the University of Toronto's The Varsity weekly.
