Rachel DiSalvo graduated from Colgate University in May 2015 and began working as a Corporate Paralegal at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. For the past two years, Rachel has served in the firm's Latin American practice, most significantly in the Sovereign Finance group for the Republic of Argentina. Her undergrad thesis delved into the impact of African American women on the Parisian Jazz scene in the 1920s and analyzed the intersectionality of sexism and racism that evolved throughout the era. As a Master's candidate, Rachel intends to expand on her interests in Latin America's political and social history in the modern era. She has traveled all over Central and South America and spent a semester abroad in Madrid; she speaks both English and Spanish. Her interests include singing, reading and finding good eats around NYC.
