Tricia Chambers graduated from Williams College in 2006 with degrees in history and psychology. After working in New York City for two years at a children’s book publishing company, she moved to Windsor, CT to teach history at Loomis Chaffee. Through the processes of analyzing world and U.S. history curriculums with her colleagues and debunking common historical myths with her high school students, she cultivated a profound desire to better understand the extent to which the world was interconnected in the past and how those connections have changed over time and shaped the world today. Her research interests include slavery and diaspora in the Americas and their impacts on individual, national, and perhaps hemispheric identities.
