Niccolò Serri is Italian and earned a BA in History from the University of Siena in 2011. During his studies he deepened topics related to the debate around the causes and impact of Industrial Revolution, as well as issues regarding modern italian history. Recently, his primary interests are in History of capitalism and History of the rise and fall of great powers since the Early Modern Era. His BA thesis explained today China’s economic order and political profile according to the perspectives of Giovanni Arrighi and those of other World System thinkers.
