Research Interest

Kaden Jenkins graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a BA in History and a minor in Russian. He was the president of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society at BYU-I for almost two years. His senior thesis focused on the comparative history of two strikes in Poland: one a predominately male strike and the other a predominately female strike.

Kaden’s broad research interests primarily focus on the twentieth century and include women’s history, communism, and the social/cultural history of Eastern Europe; specifically, the history of Poland.

Before his formal studies at BYU-I, Kaden spent two years living in Poland learning the culture and Polish language while on a church-related mission and spent part of the time teaching English as a second language. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two dogs, watching tv, and reading.
