Currently Jelaini works as a lead history teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools. She teaches 7th grade global history where she tandem to build the historical analytical, reading, writing, and discussion skills of scholars such that they can thoughtfully understand, contextualize, and seek to address major world problems. She hopes to continue teaching, but also aspires to continue her academic career with a PhD.
