My name is Bella Stark and I'm from Arlington, Virginia. I graduated summa cum laude from William & Mary in 2023 with a double-major in History and Political Science. My main research interests are twentieth-century U.S. foreign policy, Cold War political history, America's unipolarity post-Cold War, and international security more broadly.
At Columbia and LSE, my research will explore the role of U.S. intelligence agencies, such as the CIA, in American Cold War calculations and U.S. intervention abroad during the United States' unipolar moment.
In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, baking, painting, reading, and spending time with my family.
