I graduated from UMass Amherst with a BA in history in 2022.
Originally, I was pursuing a degree in Computer Science but switched major after discovering my passion for history. My interest for science and technology carried over, and combined with contemporary events of the American trade war with China and the technology sanctions that followed, compelled me to focus my studies on the history of science and technology in East Asia.
My undergraduate thesis focused on China’s semiconductor development, and I hope to be able to explore more about the development of semiconductors in East Asia and the geopolitical effects that followed.
