Alfredo Gonzalez received his B.A. in European Studies from San Diego State University in 2011, during which he spent his junior year studying at l’Universita Degli Studi di Trieste, Italy. After graduation, he spent a year in Paris, France as an English Language Assistant and attempted to learn the French language through osmosis. As a candidate for the dual M.A/M.Sc., Alfredo departed from his previous focus on Europe and exploring U.S. foreign policy and relations with Latin America post WWII. Although there are many facets worth exploring, he is most interested in the illegal drug trade and the policies employed to combat it.
