Aaron Kaiser-Chen completed the Columbia-LSE Dual MA/MSc in International and World History in 2016, writing about the portrayal of national identity in the media of the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
Aaron is currently enrolled as a post-graduate researcher at SOAS University of London, expecting to complete a PhD in China and Inner Asia Studies by Autumn 2029. He is also an adjunct lecturer at DePaul University in the Religious Studies department. He has previously worked as a manager at the Halim Time and Glass Museum, an assistant to Professor Muhsin al-Musawi at Columbia University, and an administrator with Paektu Cultural Exchange and East West Coalition/Pyongyang Project, two North Korea-focused NGOs.
