Originally from Falun, a small town in the middle of Sweden, I earned my BA in History at Copenhagen University in Denmark. The history of emotion and sex work throughout history caught my attention early on and directed my research throughout my undergraduate degree. For my graduate studies, I will to continue along the same avenue and aim explore the different historical lenses in which sex work can be viewed, and how the duality of the role of the sex worker has changed over time.
