I graduated from University of California, San Diego in 2020 with a BA (Hons) in History and a BA in Sociocultural Anthropology. As an undergrad I worked as a Preservation Lab Assistant doing book and paper repair and eventually founded a student organization for bookbinding to share those skills with other students and faculty.
My final year I completed an honors thesis that covered the creation of the “American Look” in the early to mid 20th Century and its reflection in popular culture and print media. I intend to continue this line of research at Columbia and LSE and focus on print media and advertisements and the transmission of cultural values and ideas through those mediums.
In my free time I like to travel, book bind and work on my paper marbling.
